1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the RoleVision Chrome extension ("Extension," "Service," or "RoleVision"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

RoleVision is a Chrome extension that provides:

• AI-powered job analysis comparing job descriptions to your resume
• Job relevance scoring and matching
• Job tracking and filtering tools
• Analytics and insights for your job search

3. License and Access

3.1 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use RoleVision for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

3.2 Free Plan

• 2 title scores per day
• 3 deep analyses per month
• All core features included

3.3 Premium Plan

• Unlimited title scores
• 200 deep analyses per month
• All core features included
• Email support
• Requires valid license key

3.4 Pro Plan

• Unlimited title scores
• Unlimited deep analyses
• All core features included
• Priority support
• Early access to new features
• Requires valid license key

3.5 License Restrictions

You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Extension
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share your license key with others
• Circumvent usage limits or quota restrictions
• Use automated tools or bots with the Extension

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Account and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key
• You must not share your license key with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use RoleVision only for lawful purposes and in accordance with:

• These Terms of Service
• LinkedIn's Terms of Service
• All applicable laws and regulations

4.3 Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Use the Extension to scrape, harvest, or collect data for commercial purposes
• Spam, harass, or abuse others through the Extension
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Extension in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

5. Payment and Billing (Paid Plans)

5.1 License Fees

• Premium and Pro plan licenses require payment of applicable fees
• Fees are specified at the time of purchase
• All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated

5.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor (Paddle)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• We do not store your payment information

5.3 Refunds

• Refunds are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis
• No refunds for partial months or unused quota
• Contact us within 14 days of purchase to request a refund

5.4 Subscription Renewal

• If your license is subscription-based, it will auto-renew unless canceled
• You can cancel at any time before the renewal date
• No refunds for early cancellation

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

RoleVision, including all code, features, functionality, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Trademarks

"RoleVision" and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

6.3 Your Content

• You retain all rights to your resume and personal data
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your resume for providing the Service
• We do not claim ownership of your content

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 LinkedIn

• RoleVision accesses publicly available LinkedIn job postings
• You must comply with LinkedIn's Terms of Service
• We are not responsible for changes to LinkedIn's platform that affect RoleVision's functionality

7.2 OpenAI

• Job analysis is powered by OpenAI's API
• Your use of the analysis feature is subject to OpenAI's Terms and Policies
• We are not responsible for OpenAI's availability or accuracy

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 No Guarantee of Results

• We do not guarantee that using RoleVision will result in job offers or interviews
• Analysis results are AI-generated and may contain errors
• You should independently verify all information

8.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

8.4 Service Availability

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We may suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons
• We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service

9. Changes to Service and Terms

9.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time
• Change pricing for new subscriptions (existing subscriptions honored until renewal)
• Update quota limits with reasonable notice

9.2 Terms Changes

• We may update these Terms from time to time
• Material changes will be notified through the Extension or email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your license key is revoked or expires
• We discontinue the Service

10.3 Effect of Termination

• Your license to use the Extension immediately ends
• We may delete your data from our servers (local data remains until you clear it)
• No refunds for early termination due to Terms violation

11. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Extension
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of applicable laws

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

14.5 No Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.
