At RoleVision, we strive to provide excellent service. This Refund Policy explains our approach to refunds for paid subscriptions.
2. Free Plan
The Free Plan is provided at no cost and does not involve any payment. No refunds are applicable.
3. Paid Plans (Premium & Pro)
3.1 Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
- If you purchase a Premium or Pro plan and are not satisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.
- This applies to first-time purchases only.
Technical Issues
- If the Extension experiences significant technical issues that prevent you from using core features, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a prorated refund.
3.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase
- Partial refunds for unused quota or unused portions of a subscription period
- Refunds after you have consumed a significant portion of your monthly quota (e.g., used 150+ analyses on the Premium plan)
- Violations of our Terms of Service
- Subscription renewals (you must cancel before the renewal date)
- Change of mind after the 14-day window
- Incompatibility with your specific use case that was not due to a defect in the service
- Failure to cancel before auto-renewal
3.3 Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal date
- Cancellation prevents future charges but does not provide a refund for the current period
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds are provided for early cancellation
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at RoleVisionExt@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase
- Include the following information:
- Your license key or purchase receipt
- Reason for the refund request
- Description of any technical issues (if applicable)
- Wait for confirmation - We will review your request within 3-5 business days
5. Refund Processing
5.1 Processing Time
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
- Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account
5.2 Payment Processor
- Refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment processor
- Paddle's refund policies and processing times apply
5.3 License Deactivation
- Upon issuing a refund, your paid license key will be deactivated immediately
- You will be reverted to the Free Plan
- Any cached analyses or data will remain accessible locally until cleared
6. Prorated Refunds
Prorated refunds are generally not provided except in cases of:
- Significant service downtime or technical failure on our end
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Account termination by us due to our own technical issues (not Terms violations)
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
7.1 Chargeback Policy
- If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us first, your license key will be immediately revoked
- Chargebacks may result in permanent suspension of your account
- We reserve the right to pursue recovery of chargeback fees
7.2 Dispute Resolution
- We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback
- Most issues can be resolved through communication
8. Changes to Refund Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
9. Special Circumstances
In exceptional cases not covered by this policy, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
